Invoicing and finance

Invoices, subscriptions and a profit and loss that adds itself up

Invoicing in ClientOS settles itself off the payment that created the order, and the month adds up without a spreadsheet. Money goes straight to your own gateway accounts.

Sell, deliver and invoice from a portal on your own server.

ClientOS — invoicing and finance

What you get

7 things invoicing and finance does

  • Numbering that reads in order

Invoices run INV-1001, INV-1002 in one sequence and credit notes have their own CN-1001 series. An issued invoice keeps its number forever — voiding it does not free the number.

  • Pay links anyone can use

Share a link and the client pays without an account. Copy the pay link, download the PDF or send the invoice again from the invoice page.

  • Partial payments, refunds and credit notes

Take part of an invoice now and the balance later, refund to card, PayPal or account credit, and issue credit notes. Overpayments become credit that is spent first next time.

  • Subscriptions that bill themselves

Each renewal raises its own invoice and its own order. Card on file, retries on your dunning schedule, MRR, client self-service, and reminders for renewals and expiring cards.

  • Profit and loss, month by month

Invoiced, credit notes, revenue, item costs, delivery expenses, gross and net profit, laid out by month. Every figure is per currency — nothing is silently converted.

  • Expenses and margin by service

Log expenses with receipts, link them to orders, set recurring costs, and see which services actually earn their keep.

  • Reports and CSV everywhere

Delivery reports with on-time rate by month, client and person; a monthly report written for every client; and CSV export of orders, invoices and expenses.

Where this comes from. Areas 07 (Billing) and 08 (Finance) of getclientos.com/features, read on 29 October 2026. Check any line of it against that section of getclientos.com/features or the official docs for this area. Nothing on this page adds a capability those pages do not state.
